Mystery Men was a big enough hit to inspire an imitator the following year.  I've seen an assertion that it's better than its inspirator, but I am extremely skeptical.

I wonder if this helped inspire The Incredibles?  Just from summary information, it sounds like there are noticeable points of resemblance...
